General information

The admission of the pupils is subject to the availability and according to the criteria fixed by Ray's International Pre School (Age, School Documents, and Remittance of stipulated Fees). The pupil must be introduced by his/her father, mother or legal guardian who must provide a file comprising of documents as listed in the section titled "Documents".

Age Criteria :
  • Junior KG: 4 + Yrs.

List Of Documents

    1. Original/Notarized Birth certificate of the students as issued by the statutory authorities.
    2. Photocopy of the progress/report card of the previous schooling year.(If any)
    3. Two family photographs (7.5 * 4.5 CM) with a white background.
    4. Four passport size color photographs of the child.
    5. Health information form given by the School.
    6. Self attested photocopy of address proof.
    7. Kindly provide complete communication details such as residence and office phone numbers. Cell phone numbers etc.

Also provide two alternate phone numbers/ cell phone numbers of two of your friends/relatives. Please remember that these communication details are important in order to establish contact with you in case of an emergency. This information is kept confidential.

Junior KG Curriculum

Language Development:

In Junior KG, language development is fostered through a variety of engaging activities designed to build foundational skills. Children are introduced to basic phonics by identifying and associating sounds with letters, which lays the groundwork for reading. Reading readiness is developed through recognizing letters, matching capital and small letters, and understanding rhymes, helping children become familiar with the structure and rhythm of language. Oral language skills are encouraged through conversation, storytelling, and sharing ideas, which boosts confidence and expressive abilities. Additionally, letter recognition and simple word formation are introduced to help children begin reading simple sentences, setting the stage for strong literacy skills.

Mathematics:

In Junior KG, early mathematical skills are nurtured through fun and interactive activities. Children begin by learning number recognition, identifying and counting numbers with confidence. Basic counting is reinforced by counting objects and dots, helping to build a strong sense of quantity. They also explore shapes and colors, learning to identify and name common shapes and a variety of colors, which enhances their visual and cognitive development. To encourage logical thinking and critical reasoning, children are engaged in simple math problems and puzzles, fostering early problem-solving skills in an enjoyable and age-appropriate manner.

Environmental Studies:

In Junior KG, children build awareness of themselves and the world through activities focused on self-awareness, nature, and community. They learn about body parts, family, and personal belongings, explore animals and their habitats, and understand the roles of community helpers. Safety lessons at home, school, and on the road help them develop essential well-being habits. Safety at home, on the road, and within the school setting, ensuring children understand how to protect themselves in everyday situations. Junior KG emphasizes play-based and hands-on learning to make education fun and engaging. Children learn through games, puzzles, storytelling, and rhymes, which help build language and understanding. Creative activities like arts, music, and drama encourage imagination, while outdoor and practical experiences deepen their connection to nature and real-world concepts.
